“Clap your hands, all you nations;
shout to God with cries of joy.”
My cat, affectionately called Prissy-pooh, was basking in the sun, enjoying the beautiful day. I see her as a constant photo opportunity, a flopped kitty over here, and curled up kitty over there. When she is happy, I am happy. It is hard to look at someone who is so joyful and at peace, and not smile. There is this song, from the artists NEEDTOBREATHE*, called Stones Under Rushing Water. In the song they sing, “Why don’t we smile anymore, I’m not okay with that.” Well, neither am I. Your life may currently not be going as you planned, but God has a plan for you. These trials you may be going through are tests of your strength, which I have to constantly remind my self of. I have to do homework, work, and keep my friends and family close. How are we ever supposed to do all of this? Well, we aren’t. Not on our own at least. We have to follow God’s plan for us. So, when your life seems down in the dumps, I hope you think to smile to someone because it can change the direction of your whole day to see someone light up.
